CONFLUENCE IS A MODULAR CERAMIC SURFACE SYSTEM BUILT FROM TWO COMPLEMENTARY TILE MODULES.
Each module can be rotated in four orientations. Through repetition, the continuous line connects, changes direction and creates different compositions — while the underlying logic remains the same. This page shows selected aspects of the project only.
CONFLUENCE is not conceived as one fixed repeat. Different orientations allow the same two modules to create calmer fields or more active visual rhythms, depending on composition and colour.

Only the principle is shown here, not the full catalogue of possible configurations. The connection between the modules remains constant; orientation changes the rhythm of the surface.

CONFLUENCE is presented here as a selected project teaser. KATER LAB is currently looking for ceramic, manufacturing and material partners to explore prototyping and production. The full system presentation and further studies are available on request.
